My father, Laurence Kelly, has been a patient at Badby Park since April 2010. It's location in the heart of the country is ideal for my father who is physically very active. I am very happy that dad's many demanding care needs are been met by a highly skilled care team. I find the staff treat my dad with understanding, kindness, respect and dignity whilst always remaining friendly, polite, and extremely helpful. His room is beautiful with outstanding views and is kept immaculately clean. My mum and I are welcome to visit at any time and I spend hours with my father in the beautiful gardens. My mum and I would like to say a huge \thank you\ to all the staff at Badby Park. Well done Badby !!

My daughter was a resident at Badby Park for approximately six years. She suffered from Huntington's Disease and during her stay Badby created a wing specifically for female HD patients which she was consequently moved into. We had free rein to personalise and decorate her room. There are no specific visiting hours, so we could visit whenever we wanted. In the earlier days, we were able to take her out in the car, and in the home's gardens. The carers, nurses, cleaners, office staff etc were wonderful and very friendly. They had a genuine fondness for residents, which was comforting for us. It means the world knowing that your loved one is being cared for so well. I couldn't have hoped for a better place to care for my precious, beloved daughter. When my daughter was nearing the end of her life, my husband and I stayed with her constantly. We were provided with pillows, blankets, drinks, biscuits etc and were left in peace with her, with palliative nurses popping in to check on her now and then. We were holding her hands when she peacefully passed away. I only have praise for Badby Park, they made my daughters last few years, suffering from a devastating disease, comfortable and more bearable.

My brother has just moved to Badby Park as his latest step on journey that started in Neurological ICU, after suffering a double brain haemorrhage, and will end, hopefully, back at home again with his family. Having benefited from some of the finest medical care available that certainly saved his life and set him on the path to recovery; it is difficult to accept that he could not remain under the care of the same team until well enough to return home. The choice of homes is enormous, the variety of care and rehab services is vast and the funding process bewildering! Badby Park was one of a number of care homes suggested by my Brother’s doctors. Our review started with their web site, which is extremely helpful & informative, particularly in relation to the rehab facilities that we sought. On subsequent visits we met a number of well qualified, helpful and most importantly caring staff. The facilities are modern, clean, well maintained & homely and contained within beautiful gardens in a delightful rural setting. The place is everything that their web site suggests and consequently we chose Badby Park. Badby Park sent a multi-disciplinary team to help with the transfer and ensure a comprehensive handover of care and treatment plans. Their staff have been extremely welcoming, helping personalise his room and integrate him within the social activities that the home offers. Most importantly, my brother is happy to be there!
